What an amazing work of art! I had the joy of seeing this beautiful masterpiece at the Houston airport a couple of weeks ago. What a shame that it has such a limited exposure for travelers, airport visitors and employees. After 45 minutes of asking multiple airport and airline employees where to find this treasure, I discovered that not one of them were aware of its existence in their workplace! Finally an hour after I started my determined search and pursued multiple google searches, I found it. Fortunately I had a 4-hour layover before my next flight and believe me when I say it was worth every minute of the search (and even more if I’d needed it). To find this breathtaking artwork, simply go to the Frontier check-in and baggage check counter. When you’re facing the Frontier counter there are two more airline check-in counters to your right. Tucked behind and to the right of these three airline counters (and the walls behind these counters) is a well-hidden hallway with a sign above its entrance that says “A and B Parking”. (No, I didn’t make a mistake here. There is also a sign that says “A and B Parking” to the far left of these airline counters. However, the sign and hallway to your far left WILL NOT take you to this mosaic art.) Just follow the hall to the far right and behind the counters and you’ll see four beautiful columns that are also part of this wonderful artistic creation. When you think you’ve made a wrong turn, you’re almost there. You’ll eventually see 4 beautiful mosaic columns that are part of this phenomenal work of art that was created by four full-time, extremely gifted artists who took a full year to complete their masterpiece. God bless them! I’ll be traveling through the Houston airport 2 or 3 times a year hereafter since my son and daughter-in-law moved my precious grandchildren (oh, and them too) to western Louisiana and I’ll fly to Houston for my connection. I’ll make sure my schedule always allows time to view this artwork over and over. Every time you think you’ve studied each section in depth just walk back along it and you’ll see something you missed before!
It’s an awesome paragraph in favor of all the web users; they will get advantage from it I am
sure.
This is awesome!!!!!
