As the great philosopher Aristotle said in ancient times, “the whole is greater than the sum of its parts”. With this wisdom, he unknowingly provided us with the best description for the special allure of mosaics, how much more accurately could one put this unique art form into words?
Mosaics have accompanied mankind for many centuries, and we haven’t lost our fascination with them at all. Quite the contrary; artists today still implement the classic techniques from the early Greek / Roman culture to form contemporary mosaic art.
We invite you to a fascinating exhibition of original mosaics of artist Iwona Lorenzini.
