We have recently returned from Ravenna Italy and would love to find if there is or are books on the gorgeous mosaics there. I believe I saw some on sale in the churches but could not carry them back home…Jeff Magee

I am looking for the Sicis books of mosaics as well as ‘The Mosaic Rug Collection” book.
I live in a suburb of Milwaukee, Wi and stopped in an upscale tile store. The sales personnal were not very friendly or helpful. BUT…they had these really cool books on display. It was relayed through a short conversation, that I would not be able to find these books because…I was not in their position…. a retailer.

Hi, I am a stained glass artisan, just returned from a brief stay in Montmartre, Paris. Do you know of a book that has photos of the fantastic Byzantine mosaic (Luc Oliver Merson) in the Basilque du Sacre-Coeur?
I just didn’t have time to scan local bookshops but certain there must be a book somewhere that covers the mosaic and stained glass.
