Mosaic Columns - Sea-Tac Airport Concourse A
Nine artists designed the mosaic images for these architectural columns that begin at the entryway to the south checkpoint and flow into Concourse A. The designs were created by artists Juan Alonso, Rudy Autio, Marlene Bauer, Amy Cheng, Sam Gilliam, Peter de Lory, Joanne Hammer, Robert Yoder and Susan Zoccola. Stephen Miotto, of Miotto Mosaics, translated the designs into hand-cut glass and stone tessarae mosaics.

Beautiful. Glad I came across your site. Hard not to sound self promotional here, but I will add your site to our mosaic links.

frans leenman
hello this is Frans Leenman from Miami Lakes Fl, I was at the Seattle airport a couple of months ago leaving for home after a cruise to Alaska, my wife discovered the mosaic columns, as we were about to leave, but thanks that I did not miss the giant tree, by P.de lory, fantastic work, I collect micro mosaics I have some real nice and old ones as well as newer ones we bought at the Vatican and pietra dura mostly from Italy, but some rare ones from Russia. I was very happy to discover today the different articles on the internet, and I could see the other columns as well as the other info about micro mosaics. thank you all for your efforts . I anyone would be interested call me 786-213-3438 or e-mail me
