The mosaic is located on a wall in an alleyway near High Street on the Aberdeen University campus in Aberdeen, Scotland. The red lion was the heraldric animal of the university’s founder, William Elphinstone.

On the concrete seawall (retaining wall? it’s the thingy that separates the beach below from the Great Highway above) at Ocean Beach in San Francisco, someone has adhered mosaic tile to the surface. I don’t know how long it’s been here. It seems to want to stay.
