“Muhammad Ali (born Cassius Marcellus Clay, Jr. on January 17, 1942) is a retired African American boxer. In 1999, Ali was crowned “Sportsman of the Century” by Sports Illustrated. He is a three-time World Heavyweight Boxing Champion.
Ali was born in Louisville, Kentucky. He was named after his father, Cassius Marcellus Clay, Sr., (who was named for the 19th century abolitionist and politician Cassius Clay). Ali later changed his name after joining the Nation of Islam and subsequently converted to orthodox Sunni Islam in 1975.” for more from Wikipedia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Muhammad_Ali

made out of stones, “petrified wood, malachite, azurite, agates, geodes, jasper, quartz, topaz, calcite, stalactites and stalagmites, warm glowing rubies and celestial hued sapphires. These are but a partial list of rocks gathered, purchased or donated for building of the Grotto. The many offerings of visitors have aided substantially to create this artistic wonder.”

King’s Highway: Nebo, Madaba and Kerak, originally uploaded by kalocka.
The Madaba Map is the oldest extant map of the Holy Land and is dated to the middle of the 6th century AD. It was discovered late in the 19th century, during an excavation and reconstruction of a mosaic floor in St George’s Church in Madaba, Jordan.
The mosaic has a detailed map of Jerusalem as it appeared at the height of the Byzantine period. The map depicts some of the famous Old City structures such as the Damascus Gate, St. Steven’s Gate, the Golden Gate, the gate leading to Mount Zion, the Citadel (Tower of David), the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, and the Cardo Maximus.
